This bow has costed me so much time out of the ***** last year and now again this year I really wish I could get my money back, or trade for a different bow.But if I could at least get the strings cams and limbs replaced ******** tried calling over and over and actually waited on hold for hours over and over before giving up hope. I took it to a archery shop and after inspection they determined that a cam was warped and wouldnt trust the limbs either after string snapped really need a set of strings and cams and limbs and have them installed asap because Im almost at the end of deer season this year. Serial number **************** Ive purchased the bow I have had issues last year I had issues and I was sent new arms and strings Ive had issues with the strings fraying again but barely and I didnt worry about it because they were less than a year old until I shot the bow and the main string broke nearly missed my face. My name is **** my bow is a cp400 and is registered with their company under warranty. This shouldn't have gotten to this point that we are at now. I have attached all my email correspondences with Ravin since day one, as well as my receipts. I shouldn't have to pay top dollar for a new model bow and every year it breaks or hurts me, then pay a few hundred just to get it back, that's terrible! I even mentioned I was going to the BBB if no one got back to me, obviously they don't care about their customers, customers safety, or the equipment they are deeming safe and putting out there for us to spend thousands on. I paid $2500 for this bow, but it still cost me $222 this time to get it back from ******* after it was fixed. At that time, I even asked for a refund or a different bow but instead was just pushed off, ************* the process sound like it would be a huge hassle if I wanted a refund and assured me the bow would be fine now. **** was the Ravin employee that I worked with when it almost took my hand off (2nd). I emailed Ravin and *********************** multiple times recently and no one has responded once. I asked ***** to have his rep ******* me, which he never did. I took it back to ******* where they said there Ravin rep wanted to send it back again for repair. Just recently, season 3 now, my bow exploded again out of nowhere, damaging a great deal of the bow itself. At the time I was advised to send it back directly to Ravin, they supposedly "fixed" it and sent it back. I had to go to the hospital to make sure my hand was good I could have easily gotten permanent damage, luckily there wasn't. Next season I had another mechanical catastrophic failure happen, nothing to do with human error. Ravin advised me to bring it to ******* Archery in *****, where they fixed it for 50$, I unfortunately do not have that receipt. Soon after I purchased it, I had it in my hunting room and it exploded uncocked out of nowhere and damaged a gun cabinet that I have. I bought a Ravin R26 on 12/18/19 and have nothing but problems every season since I had it. Check customer reviews for this company and notice a vast number of complaints similar to mine. I would like to get the replacement parts or a refund. Phone calls result in being on hold for a lengthy amount of time and still no one answers. Last response from Centerpoint was on stating they would check on part replacement but have heard nothing since. There is a 5 year warranty with this equipment. Several emails with pictures of limbs with the receipt has gotten no results. Bow remains inoperable with the defective limbs. Constant emails with pictures resulted in replacement parts for the defective buffer tube but no limb replacements. At that time it was noticed that the lamination on one of the limbs was beginning to separate creating a dangerous situation. Then the buffer tube separated from main stock. Email to Centerpoint with no response so purchased another ($80) on Amazon. Purchased a Centerpoint Patriot 425 crossbow on for $421.88.
